About Us

All-Inclusive Singapore (AIS) is an independent media platform covering disability, accessibility and inclusive living in Singapore. We bring together news, developments, events and perspectives that are often scattered across different organisations, communities and online channels. Our coverage spans public policy, community initiatives, employment, education, assistive technology, inclusive design, sport, culture and the everyday experiences of people with disabilities. AIS was created in response to a gap in Singapore’s media and information landscape. That gap became personal in 2018, when I was searching for products and services to support my aunt’s recovery after a stroke. Relevant information was fragmented and difficult to navigate, while many of the options I found were located overseas. With my background in publishing, I began to explore how information about disability could be made easier to find, understand and share. All-Inclusive Singapore grew from that idea. Today, AIS reports on developments across Singapore’s disability and inclusion landscape, from established organisations and public programmes to individuals and ground-up initiatives. We also maintain a central space where readers can discover upcoming events, activities, workshops and opportunities. Beyond reporting what has happened, AIS seeks to explore what inclusion looks like in practice: how people live, work, participate, create, travel, learn and connect with one another.
