Enabling Village’s Vista Expansion Deepens Support for PWDs and Caregivers

In December 2025, Enabling Village (EV) marked its 10th year with a new four-storey extension, Vista, which was officially open by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

Vista adds new facilities and services aimed at strengthening post-school pathways and caregiver support, including Enabling Academy, an Independent Living Studio (a simulated HDB flat for life-skills learning), and a Future Care Planning Resource Centre. The expansion also grows EV’s tenant mix, with organisations and social enterprises scaling up programmes and services—reinforcing EV’s role as a shared hub where persons with disabilities can live, learn and work alongside the wider community.

Regulars like stroke survivor April Kwek describe EV as a “second home”, drawn by accessible wellness activities and a community vibe that feels different from typical malls.
